Number One Contenders For The Tag Team Championships

Los Mexicana & Ultimo Scorpio VS Out On Bail

Out On Bail have been chasing the tag team championships for quite sometime and can never seem to win them when they are on the line. With countless opportunities they were placed in a number one contender ship against the Mexicans who as of late have proved they are worthy at a tag title shot. The fans of Teignmouth loved the Mexicans as they came out and happy running around and dancing in the ring. Things would change when the no nonsense Out on bail team of Johnny Sicko & Scott Johns came out and told the crowd to shut up.

Both team tested each other with some light wrestling holds and the crowd witnessed the luchador action that Ultimo Scorpio & Los Mexicana possessed. Out On Bail were to strong and would dominate a lot of the match by chocking each wrestler and hitting hard moves that would wear down the masked luchadors.

Out On Bail would make the final blow when Scott Johns connected the Annihilation on Los Mexicana and would obtain the three count for Out On Bail and named once again the number one contenders for the tag team championships.

Winners: Out On Bail

VV Reyes w/ Sir Charles Watkins VS Robbie Devonshire

Retribution and Vengeance was on the mind of Robbie Devonshire when he would square off against the Kings Dark Knight VV Reyes. Robbie Devonshire a former two time POW Champion had lost the belt on two occasions which were both due to VV Reyes interfering and attacking Robbie Devonshire. The two looked to settle the score and both knew who the enemy was.

After the Kings speech, VV Reyes entered with Sir Charles Watkins managing him. Straight after that, the crowd went wild for Robbie Devonshire who came in and exploded on VV Reyes beating him down as much as he could simply because of the anger that VV Reyes had built up in Devonshire. VV Reyes although a rookie had been getting better and better and finally found a way to stop Robbie's momentum. Reyes would constantly be reminded by the crowd that he was not well liked and seemed to put him off.

Robbie built up several offensive attacked but would get cut off at every turn by Reyes and the cheating manager Sir Charles Watkins. The referee was unable to see any of this cheating from the sly prime minister of POW and the frustration of Robbie's face told the whole story that he not only wanted to beat Reyes but also get his hands on Watkins.

Robbie connected his finishing move towards the end of the match and all looked like it was over, but Watkins got himself involved breaking up the pinfall. Robbie would give Watkins his just deserts but would be to distracted for Reyes to get a roll up with Watkins holding onto Reyes obtaining the three count and winning the match. We can safely say that this rivalry is far from over.

Winner: VV Reyes

GazzNorks w/ Becky Summers VS Sam Andrews

The almighty GazzNorks was put to a new test when he would take on Sam Andrews in singles competition. The crowd seemed to enjoy both personalities and the match was set to be a spectacular one. Both have a great technical wrestling background and are also known for there hard hitting style. Sam Andrews seemed to be angry in the match as GazzNorks beat him a every turn and would eventually try another tactic and go for GazzNorks manager Becky Summers. This would anger GazzNorks and we started to see a different type of match where it almost became personal.

Sam Andrews would dominate the match applying holds to GazzNorks and grounding him knowing full well that by keeping GazzNorks down, he wouldn't be able to hit any hard powerful moves. GazzNorks would fight back and connect some punishing blows that could be seen on the expression of Sam Andrews, but Sam had to much experience behind him and went straight back to grounding GazzNorks with a modified camel clutch.

Sam would continue to fire an arsenal of offensive moves and using his amazing agility and speed would connect high flying dropkicks and then go straight back to holds which would work on GazzNorks fatigue. Although GazzNorks is an extraordinary athlete, Sam Andrews was proving that he was better and cut off GazzNorks at every turn.

Towards the end of the match, GazzNorks built enough momentum to defeat Sam Andrews and when connecting the G-Force would cause a knock out to Sam Andrews which GazzNorks pinned and won the match. After the match was done, Sam was seen to have a huge swelling on his eye where he was caught in the landing of The G-Force.

Winner: GazzNorks

Yamaguchi Son VS Sir Charles Watkins

A Match that had been building on the past couple of Cybernet Episodes, Yamaguchi would defend the honour of the masked wrestlers when he took on the Prime Minister of POW, Sir Charles Watkins. The fans knew what to expect from Watkins from his previous appearance and would continue to disrespect the fans with pathetic comments.

Yamaguchi seemed to be loved by the fans and would attack very early in the match using his martial art background and comical humour. Watkins however should never be under estimated and fought back using his strength and hard hitting style. The match would go on for six minutes and we were treated to a great match which would see Yamaguchi connect the Rising Sun before hitting the Oroko Suckhi to win the match and celebrate with the fans using the ancient dance celebration. The event would then go into a break and the fans were seen imitating Yamaguchi's famous dance routine.

Winner: Yamaguchi Son

Lee O' Brian VS Chris Andrews

When this match was booked, people knew that this would be a block buster and we were not disappointed at all. Chris Andrews & Lee O' Brian had faced each other in a tag team match and showed a small dose of what they could pull off. Chris Andrews had a lot more experience in singles competition than Lee O' Brian but the former Cybernet Champion would not be counted out so easily. It was clear that both wrestlers were liked by the fans and we really was going to see if Power or Speed was the better style in wrestling.

Chris Andrews would show the crowd his astonishing physique along with his unbelievable strength throwing Lee like he was a feather. Lee O' Brian tried to attack quickly but just couldn't get past Chris like he was a brick wall. Chris Andrews would use his strength by picking up Lee into a Gorilla Press Slam and nearly obtaining early three counts. Lee O' Brian should never be counted out and proved that when he came back with his fast paced style. But at every turn it was not enough as Chris Andrews could seemingly take everything that Lee threw at him and would once again work on the offensive. The crowd was also split into two both cheering each wrestler, eventually Lee would explode with several moves that gained great offence, however out of no where Chris Andrews connected the Devon Drop and as the crowd went quiet to see the outcome, Lee somehow kicked out.

The entire audience was shocked including Chris who then connected the Devon Knockout and again Lee kicked out. Lee seemed to have so much heart that he was determined to win this match. Chris would mess up with a body slam and Lee O' Brian would roll up Chris and with a split second would win the match and roll out the ring as quick as possible celebrating his biggest win ever. A shocked Chris Andrews was not happy with the outcome and it seemed that this might not be the last time these two meet.

Winner: Lee O' Brian

Cybernet Championship

David Fury (C) VS Darren Saviour

It was time for the Cybernet Championship to be defended with Teignmouth's own Darren Saviour challenging for the title. Darren Saviour has had his fair share of battles with David Fury and pulled off a win on the last episode of Cybernet before Know Your Enemy. The crowd went ecstatic when they heard Darren Saviours name announced and the home town hero loved every second of the warming welcome that his fans gave to him. Darren wanted to win the Cybernet Championship in his home town and make his dream come true, however the monster David Fury was no easy opponent as GazzNorks had found out on many occasions. Saviour knew he didn't possess the strength that GazzNorks had however knew that his athletic ability may serve him well and walking into the match already with a victory over Fury motivated him.

The two started out on fire with Saviour feeding off the crowd and Fury's normal anger. The two locked up and went for a test of strength, Saviour had the advantage of being very tall but the power was to much when Fury beat him to the ground and started a small attack. Saviour knew that he would be finished early in the match if he let this happen and brought his A-game to the table and used his quickness to outsmart Fury.

Throughout the match it was back and fourth with hard fought battles to see who the better man was and it really was anyone's match as both men looked to be winners. Saviour would hit the Save-U and the crowd couldn't believe that it didn't get a three count. Fury would then get the Cybernet championship belt and hit Saviour, the referee did not disqualify him because he knew Fury was trying to take the easy way out. However with the belt shot, the damage had been done and Fury hit his Sitout Spinebuster and pinned Saviour which did not go down well with the Teignmouth crowd.

Winner: David Fury

POW Championship

Chris Marvel VS King Walshington I (C)

Teignmouth had already experienced the King disrespect the fans and the town but would now watch him in action when he took on one of the current tag team champions Chris Marvel. These two were a former tag team several months ago but simply went in opposite directions, however the two would finally meet and square off against each other.

Chris Marvel lethal with his feet couldn't wait to attack the King as many said to him before his match that he didn't have what it took to defeat the King. The two locked up and Marvel found that the King was to strong for him so the two started to exchange some technical wrestling holds and although Marvel would fight back with one of his own, the King just seemed to know more that Chris Marvel and found ways of getting himself back into the offensive. The King would also duck every single move that Marvel through at him but would eventually connect a dropkick and realised that his speed was the greatest advantage.

The two brawled in front of the crowd and the connections of elbows, chops and kicks echoed the hall with the crowd going wild for this fight. Marvel would hold a long offensive on the King and looked very sharp in the early going. The King would come back and instantly went straight for the back knowing that his finishing move would deliver the final blow. With a series of backbreakers and suplexes Chris Marvel screamed in pain and was defiantly injured however knowing that the title was on the line he refused the referees advice on more than one occasion to give up.

The King relentless would continue the punishment and spent a lot of the time dishing out move after move and taunting the crowd who by now hated the King with a passion. It looked over for Marvel however the King would slip up and with the last breath of Marvel he came back with a series of kicks and hit the Senton Bomb, however did not get the best he has ever done and just when it looked over, the Kings court ran in and stopped the count. Marvel fought Reyes & Watkins on the outside and then hit the referee by accident. The Knights Of The Round table attacked Marvel but he still was able to fight back with little energy, however fell into the hands of the King who connected the KOR and saw that it was to much for Marvel to kick out allowing King Walshington to win the match and retain his POW Championship.

Winner: King Walshington I
