ADRENALINE 5 2007

The third POW event was live in the Brixham College Sports Centre. With a huge loud crowd the 5th annual Adrenaline was scheduled to become another success in the history books.

Dan "The PrettyBoy" Walsh VS Parton

The first match kicked off with Kensington's PrettyBoy who blew the crowd off with his usual rants that contained filthy comments to the residents of Devon. His opponent Parton, a home town hero of Brixham and former local wrestling federation champion wanted to put a sock in the London loud mouths throat.

The match started all PrettyBoy out wrestling Parton at every turn, it was tough for Parton to even move as PrettyBoy showed everyone how to toy around with the opposition. PrettyBoy was so confident and cocky that he slapped Parton across the face that echoed the arena. With that Parton's eyes went blood red and started a small relentless assault with The PrettyBoy. Parton wouldn't have the advantage for to long as PrettyBoy was quickly back in control and focusing on the back ready to use his finishing moves that aimed directly for the back.

PrettyBoy showed strength and athletic ability with moves that gasped the crowds attention. The fans got behind Parton hoping that there would be an opening for him. Parton tried twice but could not avoid the injuries inflicted by The PrettyBoy. Towards the end of the match Parton gained enough momentum to gain some control and kicked out of The PrettyBoys secondary finishing move The Fisherman Suplex and escaped The Boston crab on three occasions. Parton nailed the spear and all looked over but Unfortunly was not enough to keep Dan Walsh down. Parton would try one more spear that would be his mistake when PrettyBoy realised what was happening and dodged the spear only to quickly grab Parton for a roll up and get the pin fall.

Winner: Dan "The PrettyBoy" Walsh

Jay Swanton VS Lee O' Brian

The next match would show the fast pace high flying that POW has to offer with two top British cruiserweights. As Jay Swanton & Lee O' Brian made there way to the ring, The Money Maker AJ Harrison glared at Lee O Brian.

AJ Harrison told Lee O Brian that he had not finished with him and planned to make his life miserable starting with today's event. Lee would be informed that he would compete in this match, then the 6 man ladder match and then the battle royal where AJ would enter himself and personally eliminate Lee O Brian.

Lee knew that this match would not be an easy one as he had trained and wrestled with Jay Swanton. The two knew each other so well due to there old tag team relationship.

The match started just as expected with the two matching each others abilities getting one up on each other. It seemed they the frustration would build on Lee as he would start to throw punches rather than wrestling holds. The two high flyers pounded each other with high risk moves that no normal human being could do. The crowd would go wild with several cameras flashing at a second because they had never seen such innovation.

The match was close with neither one gaining a true advantage, however it would be Lee O Brian's downfall to try and match Jay Swanton on the same turnbuckle as Jay connected his Top Rope Spanish Pirate to end Lees chance of winning and picking up the victory.

Winner: Jay Swanton

"Marvelous" Mark Walsh VS HellRazer

We had seen one half of Pretty Marvelous emerge victorious, would it happen again? Well with Beautiful Becky Summers outside there would be a huge problem for HellRazer. The former local wrestling federation hero was looking for some competition at POW and received a huge elevation for his triumphant return.

The match was similar to the start of the first with Marvelous showing that his wrestling skills would surpass HellRazer at every move. HellRazer new that his brute strength and fighting style would be the only way to battle Marks wrestling skills and did just that. Marvelous would resort to dirty tactics that would stop HellRazer get momentum. Becky Summers would also come into play using her beauty to distract the referee and HellRazer.

The match went on for quite sometime as both wrestlers battled it out looking to win. HellRazer hit several high impact moves including a Chokeslam and a Crucifix Powerbomb, but still Marvelous would not stay down. The worst for HellRazer was still not to come when the referee was knocked out from a flying dropkick that Marvelous hit when going for HellRazer.

There Dan The PrettyBoy Walsh would come in and Pretty Marvelous started a beat down in the corner. HellRazer came back fending the two before Chokeslamming PrettyBoy all the way down. HellRazer focused his attention to Becky Summers and gave what the crowd screamed for and that was a vicious Tombstone Piledriver.

The match was tight, a series of reversals from each finisher was hit and it wasn't sure who was going to hit the final impact move. Marvelous jumped for a diamond cutter only to be reversed and dropped in an instant to a Tombstone Piledriver giving HellRazer the win and his 5th Adrenaline win remaining unbeaten at these events.

Winner: HellRazer

Johnny Sicko VS Mad Dog

After three action packed matches the crowd were still hungry for more. The music hit and out came former local wrestling federations most hated wrestler Johnny Sicko. Johnny entered the ring and continued to make the crowd hate him by using him filthy rants. Johnny stated that he had no match scheduled and wasn't happy with this, so he decided to issue a challenge to anyone in the backstage locker rooms if they wanted to face him one on one in a hardcore match.

A wrestler emerged from the curtains only to be Mad Dog who hailed from Honiton. Mad Dog wrestles for a company based in Honiton and it would be interesting to see if he could defeat Johnny Sicko.

The match was filled with smash mouth wrestling and loaded with hardcore weapons that ranged from road signs and other foreign objects. Both wrestlers would hit each other with weapons that would batter each other down. Human bodies were not designed for this kind of impact and as a result the crowd witnessed one huge fight in the middle of the ring.

Sicko who has a lot of experience in these type of matches was able to gain an advantage and take control from the Honiton wrestler. Sickos sick arsenal of weapons were not finished either as he drew a large metal bin hitting Mad Dog down. Sicko would then resort to the use of thumbtacks pouring over 10'000 on the floor all facing up ready to stick to the human flesh.

Sicko loured Mad Dog to the area and was surprised when Mad Dog body slammed Sicko to the thumbtacks covering his bare back with pins stuck to his flesh. The onslaught continued with the crowd horrified to what they were watching.

After an eventful fight Sicko would hit his signature move the SickBag but instead of using his knee for the head to land on, he used a steel chair causing Mad Dog to become unconscious and lose the match making Johnny Sicko the winner of this barbaric encounter.

Winner: Johnny Sicko

Robbie Devonshire VS Dave Fury VS BraveHeart Ben VS Darren Saviour VS Marque Le Perfect VS Lee O' Brian

The main event was ready to be unleashed to the blood thirsty crowd offering them a six man ladder match. Each competitor had the chance to win £1000 that was tucked away in a briefcase hanged above the ring. The first star to come out was POWs own Robbie Devonshire who was Devon born and bread. Robbie received a standing elevation getting the crowd to clap to his theme song "We will rock you". Next out of the curtain was David Fury, a man who's power is unbelievable and a force to be reckoned with. David came in and already pumped to fight started to push Robbie around.

Next was local wrestling hero BraveHeart Ben who had appeared at Adrenaline one and three and was now making his third appearance. Known for his reckless intent of using his body as a weapon, BraveHeart was quite suited to this match type. Darren Saviour was the fourth contender who was making his POW debut. Saviour was scheduled to debut at the Brixham Happening show, however suffered an injury that kept him out for sometime. The next star was born in Paris France and was none other than Marque Le Perfect, a cocky arrogant French man who was proud of his heritage. The final competitor who was announced earlier was a tired Lee O' Brian who had still not recovered from the second match.

The match was fast and strong with no rest periods for action. The crowd went wild at the suicidal attempts of using ladders to the wrestlers advantages. While Lee O Brian and Darren Saviour would use there speed and agility to there opponents, BraveHeart Ben would throw his body at every opportunity not caring to what was happening to him. The other three wrestler sheer power would immobilise there opponents making every wrestler a contender for winning. The match went on seeing suicidal dives over the top rope and to the outside, hitting big impact moves directly to the ladders and high flying acrobatic moves that made the match sensational to watch.

Towards the end you could see that each wrestler was giving there last breath. All six men would climb ladders trying to take each other out and grab the briefcase. A table was also set up looking for someone to fall through. It would be BraveHeart Ben & Marque Le Perfect to fall from there ladder first landing groin on the ropes and then falling to the outside. David Fury hit a top rope Spinebuster to Darren Saviour while Robbie Devonshire back body tossed Lee O Brian in the air and crashed through the hard table leaving Robbie Devonshire to take the briefcase and win the match.

Winner: Robbie Devonshire

Battle Royal

The show was coming to an end and we had witnessed one great show, but the wrestlers were not finished as they had the chance to win the last match of the day by eliminating 20 wrestlers and becoming the overall winner of the match. The only way to eliminate your opponents would be to throw them over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. This is no easy task which is why what ever left in these wrestlers would be needed to lift someone over the ropes.

All of the wrestlers emerged including some that hadn't been in the previous matches. It finally boiled down to The Money Maker AJ Harrison, Pretty Marvelous and a battered and tired Lee O Brian. AJ ordered Pretty Marvelous to dismantle Lee O Brian before AJ got his hands dirty. Pretty Marvelous hit several tag team manoeuvres that would leave Lee motionless. Pretty Marvelous looked to go for one final blow when Marvelous Mark Walsh held Lee O Brian in a full nelson hold and The PrettyBoy went for a clothesline. This move would not work as Lee ducked letting PrettyBoy eliminate his tag team partner. Lee capitalised on this quickly hitting a dropkick to the back of PrettyBoy sending him over the ropes as well.

It then left AJ & Lee as the remaining two. Lee exploded with every last ounce of energy inflicting punishment to AJ. Lee O Brian went for a superplex before AJ through him to the ground. AJ decided to show that he was cocky and nearly paid for it when he slipped off the turnbuckle only to hold onto the ropes. Lee O Brian saw this chance to hit a triangle dropkick by bouncing off the turnbuckle and fly to AJ connecting a dropkick eliminating the Money Maker and allowing Lee O Brian the winner. We can safely say that both of them will not be finished with each other.

Winner: Lee O' Brian
